I took these photos in the Natural Park Señorío de Bértiz on 12 November, 2013, during my visit with the Irish professor Noel, the American professor Andreu and the Spanish engineer Miguel Angel. It was a rainy day.

Photos of la borraja (borage) a delicious and nutritive vegetable dish in Navarra (Spain)

It is a delicious vegetable that I knew in Navarra (Spain); it is normally boiled with potatoes and served with olive oil. Now as you see I cultivate it at home. The leaves and branches are covered with whitish thorny bristles. The whole leaves and the thorny bristles must first be removed from the branches; it is an arduous labour. But finally you’ll have your gift having a nutritive and delicious vegetable dish.
